♦How far in advance should I order my dress?

We have two types of dresses, in stock dresses and pre-order dresses.

-In stock dresses:
The processing time is 3-5 business days, plus a shipping time of 3-9 business days (exact shipping times depend on the carrier and shipping method chosen at Checkout).

-Pre-order dresses:
We make dresses to order from scratch so they may take longer to arrive than you’re used to with other online sellers. The tailoring period for wedding dresses is 25-30 business days and for special occasion dresses and wedding party dresses it takes 20-25 business days plus a shipping time of 3-9 business days (exact shipping times depend on the carrier and shipping method chosen at Checkout).

The best way to ensure a stress-free shopping experience is to allow plenty of time for our tailoring and shipping periods, plus additional time to try on the dress and make any necessary alterations once it arrives.

♦Can you customize the size of my dress?

Absolutely – if our standard sizes don't work for you, we can make you a custom-sized dress for a small extra charge. Custom sizing costs $20 for all special occasion dresses. When ordering, you’ll need to check the box for “Custom size” to the right of the dress’s drop-down size menu and tell us your measurements in inches. Getting professionally measured is best, but if you want to do it yourself be sure to read our measuring guide first. Avoid common mistakes by doing the following:

-Ask someone else to measure for you
-Take measurements while wearing undergarments similar to what you’ll wear with the dress
-Provide a bust measurement from the fullest part of your chest, not your bra size!
-Give your measurements in inches
-Measure hollow to floor while wearing shoes of the same height you’ll wear with the dress

♦How can I make sure I’m ordering the right size?

When ordering a dress for your special occasion online, you’re right to pay close attention to getting the size right! Since we’re an international company, our clothing may run larger or smaller than the standard sizes you’re used to. Checking the actual measurements in our size chart and comparing them to your own measurements before placing your order is the best way to avoid size errors.

If you’re ordering a custom-sized dress, it’s especially important to get your measurements exactly right. Getting professionally measured is the most reliable way to ensure the final product reaches you perfectly tailored. To know how to measure click here.

If your size fluctuates or you want to modify the dress slightly, we always leave a few inches in the seams so that your local tailor can easily make alterations as needed. ♦ Can I order this dress in a different style/fabric/length?

Yes, if you want order a dress in a different style/fabric/length, please contact our Customer Service team on service@dressesmall.com.au to tell your detailed requests. 

♦How do I know if you have received my order?

When you make an order you will receive a confirmation email from us noticing this. The email will contain your order number and details of the goods ordered. This is confirmation that your purchase has been made and your card has been charged. When your goods have been dispatched to you, we will send you an order dispatch email.

♦ What happens if I notice that my personal details are incorrect after I have completed the ordering process?

If you realize your personal details are incorrect once you have completed the ordering process please contact our Customer Service team on service@dressesmall.com.au or click our live chat system. Ensuring your order number is included .

♦Can I make changes to my order after I have paid for my order?

You can change your order within 48 hours after you have paid your order, by contacting our Customer Service team on service@dressesmall.com.au, if more than 48 hours, we could not change your order any more.

♦What happens if an item on my order is not available?

If items you have ordered is unavailable when we come to pick and dispatch it you will be informed by email that we are unable to ship that item and you will be refunded for that item. We will ship any remaining items that you have ordered.

♦What payment methods do you accept?

Currently, we accept credit card and PayPal.

♦ Do you charge any duties or taxes?

At dressesmall.com.au, we don't add taxes, VAT, or other hidden charges to the price of your order. You pay what you see on the checkout page, i.e. the subtotal of your items + the shipping cost.

♦What is your return policy for worldwide?

♦ How will I know if you have received my returned parcel?

We strongly recommend that you return your parcel by recorded delivery as this will allow you to track the whereabouts of your parcel online. Once we have received your parcel and processed your items we will send you an email to confirm that it has been returned and the money credited to your account. Please remember that some banks may take up to 10 days to show the refunded money in your account. In order for us to deal with your inquiry, please contact us within 13 days of return if you have not been refunded.

Others

♦ Will my dress exactly match the color I see on your website?

The settings of your computer screen may alter the color of the pictures shown on our website. Slight color mismatches between the color of your item and the color shown on screen may not mean that the item is defective. However, if you are confident that you have received the item in a wrong color, please contact our sales to see if a return or refund is possible.

♦ What do I do if I have forgotten my password or my password does not work?

If you have forgotten your password, we will need to reset it for you.
